Leeson House Field Studies Centre

Key Stages 2 & 3 - Creative and Sensory

Environmental Art

Be inspired by the amazing work of Andy Goldsworthy in books and a presentation, and then get out into the grounds and create your own piece of environmental art! Using only the natural resources available in the surrounding environment, you can explore ideas of colour, shape, pattern and contrast whilst creating a masterpiece!

Story Telling and Drama

Whether it's telling stories around the campfire or re-enacting some of the tales you've heard earlier through roleplay and drama, Leeson House can provide the perfect setting, inspiration and resources.

Earth Walks

Use all your senses to explore the environment around you, either in the grounds at Leeson House or out on a walk further afield. Earth Walks bring together a number of sensory activities, including Sky Walking, Colour pallettes, Scratch and Sniff, Fist Full of Sounds and Tickly-Prickly, to enable children to experience the world around them.
