Barry Cullimore - the Centre Manager - has worked at Leeson House since 1995. He is a keen runner and climber who really loves living and working in Purbeck. A qualified Primary School teacher with a degree in Geology and Geography, Barry specialises in teaching the A Level courses but also lends his hand with all the other courses that Leeson House runs.

Carole Davis - Tutor - has worked at Leeson House since 2004. She was born and brought up in Dorset and has enjoyed spending time in Purbeck since she was a child. Prior to working at Leeson House Carole taught in a primary school in Bournemouth

 

Adam Reed - Tutor - first worked at Leeson House as a Centre Assistant in 2006 but liked it so much he came back in 2009 as a Tutor. With a degree in Environment & Coastal Management from Bournemouth University, he now finds himself teaching at many of the same fantastic field studies locations that he himself studied at. In his free time he loves to be outside and is a keen surfer and snowboarder. He also loves just disappearing off in his campervan in search of fun and adventures.

Tim Saunders - Cook-in-Charge - is our longest serving member of staff with 30+years of cooking under his belt. Tim has lived and worked in Swanage all his life and spends his free time doing DIY and taking his young sons to football matches.

Leigh Van De Zande - Site Manager - has worked at Leeson House for 10 years. He turns his hand to repairing everything that breaks or goes wrong in the Centre and is always ready with a joke for the children staying. He is often seen out and about on his Harley Davidson motorbike.

Mark James - Trainee Tutor - joined the teaching team at Leeson House in 2007. Previously Mark had worked as an Education Ranger for The National Forest in the Midlands. Focussing on getting young people enthused about the natural world Mark can think of no better place than Purbeck in which to do this. Outside of his teaching work at Leeson House Mark is one of the country's leading circus performers and has peformed around the country with his own show. Mark can often be seen practising in the games room at Leeson House.

Alison Jay - Trainee Tutor - had never been to Purbeck before she joined our team in 2007, but now she think's she'll probably never leave. Ali has a degree in Ecology and loves living by the sea, walking in Purbeck and eating cake. When she's not teaching she helps to look after the grounds and fights with the slugs for control of the vegetable patch.
