VAT Statement
Any fees wholly within Dorset County Council fall outside the scope of VAT and are ignored for general VAT purposes. This applies to ALL DCC schools or any other part of the Council, including (if applicable) youth clubs or other youth organisations.
All course fees are exempt from VAT except in the following situations
VAT will be charged on
a) all fees for any accompanying staff over and above the free staff allocation. We offer free staff places on a 1 to 10 or part 10 basis and also 1 free staff place per pupil with recognised special needs / support requirements at school.
b) all fees when no tuition is being provided by Leeson House staff to the group during their time staying at Leeson House (unless the group is from a Dorset County Council school or any other part of the Council)
d) the cost of all bed linen to all groups (unless the group is from a Dorset County Council school or any other part of the Council)
e) mileage charges for use of Leeson House minibuses to all groups (unless the group is from a Dorset County Council school or any other part of the Council)
